About
I am an assistant professor in the Division of Political Studies at CIDE (Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas, Mexico). I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh in May 2010.
With a background both in International Relations and in Comparative Politics, my research interests include international and comparative political economy, the influence of domestic institutions on international cooperation, and Latin American politics. I am particularly interested in the design and effects of monetary institutions and on the politics of delegation, topics that frame my dissertation.
